Microblading IN ACTION

A close-up look at precision brow artistry, where each stroke is thoughtfully placed to create natural-looking fullness and definition. This technique is performed with careful attention to shape, symmetry, and flow, allowing the brows to complement your unique features without appearing harsh or overdone. Every movement is intentional, building soft, realistic detail that enhances what is already there rather than changing it entirely.

As the process unfolds, you can see how subtle adjustments create a more balanced, polished appearance that feels effortless and easy to maintain. The result is a refined brow that frames the face beautifully, simplifying your daily routine while delivering long-lasting, confidence-boosting results.

  • Microblading is semi-permanent makeup that enhances your brows naturally. Numbing is applied prior to the procedure. With the use of a blade and pigment, I create “hair like strokes” that mimic the look of brow hairs! This is a great option if your brows are sparse (lacking hair) if
you want to achieve a fuller looking brow and or correct asymmetry (even them out/more
    symmetrical).

  • The length of time varies but usually up to 3 hours. When you come in for your touch up
appointment in approximately 5-7 weeks, the touch up procedure lasts about 1 hour.

  • You must refrain from getting them waxed for at least one week BEFORE microblading and wait at least 4 weeks AFTER having them microbladed

  • You should wait at least 2 weeks after getting botox. It’s recommended to get microblading done before botox to avoid the risk of distortion of your brows once the botox settles.

  • The healing process varies depending on factors like your age, skin type, and overall health. And can take anywhere from 4-8 weeks to fully heal.

  • light flaking and scabbing is to be expected DO NOT PICK you may start experiencing this by day 2 scabs (if any) will flake bit by bit over the course of 7-14 days

  • It is advised that you wait 10-14 days before applying makeup to the area. keeping the skin clean and free from cosmetics is important to the healing process and to prevent infection

  • ● You can wash them 5 days after the procedure (keep in mind when moisture gets
trapped in a scab it appears white which is normal and not to be alarmed as this is also
    part of the healing process)
    ● Avoid hot and sweaty exercise for 7 days
    ● Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning beds (please don’t use these) for 2 weeks after procedure
    ● Avoid heavy sweating & long hot showers for the first 10 days
    ● Avoid swimming, lakes, & hot tubs for the first 10 days
    ● Do not rub, pick, or scratch your eyebrows
    ● Do not dye, tweeze or wax eyebrows

  • 5-7 weeks (sometimes 4-6 depending on your retention).

  • While some people feel no discomfort at all, others may find the procedure a little uncomfortable. Topical anesthetics are used prior to and throughout the treatment in order to alleviate any discomfort.

  • A very gentle cleanser. I recommend my clients use vanicream gentle cleanser (can be purchased online or over the counter at your local walgreens, cvs, target). It’s a great facial cleanser for all skin types including acne prone. It’s free of any dyes, parabens, fragrances, etc.
(Avoid using any products with actives such as glycolic acid, salicylic acid, or retin-A during the healing process).

  • Permanent makeup may last many years, however, the average longevity varies between 1-3 years. The longevity of color depends on a person’s age, skin type and condition, aftercare treatment, sun, and other external factors.

  • ● Contributing factors include pigment color (the lighter the color, the faster it will fade)
    ● lifestyle (sun exposure will speed up the pigmentation fading process; always put SPF 30 on your eyebrows)

    ● iron deficiencies (if you’re iron deficient, your body can absorb the pigment as an
supplement which will cause the pigment to fade faster)
    ● age (if you’re young, your skin cell turnover is faster so the pigment will last longer)

  • ● If you have any autoimmune diseases/disorders, undergoing any chemo or radiation
    ● pregnant or nursing
    ● insulin dependent diabetic
    ● hemophiliac
    ● peripheral vascular disease
    ● active infection (staff, impetigo, or any other form)
    ● herpes complex outbreak on the face
    ● glaucoma
    ● prone to getting keloids
    ● skin disorders (such as psoriasis, eczema, undiagnosed blisters or rashes)
    ● a history of post inflammatory to the skin
    ● a history of allergies to pigments or tattoo ink
    ● pregnant or actively nursing
    ● weakened immune system

  • Colors will always look 30-50% darker, bold or intense immediately after the procedure and then lighten and soften upon healing.

  • ● Day 1-4 your eyebrows will be very dark & defined
    ● Day 5-8 your eyebrows will begin to flake & fade
    ● Day 9-14 your eyebrows will appear very light
    ● Day 15-30 your eyebrows will become more apparent & the strokes will be visible with a possibility of some unevenness based on how each area healed
    ● Day 31 after your optional touch up appointment your brows should be even in shade & shape
    ● This healing process is completely normal and totally worth it to have your dream brows!
